Ocean City vacation rental FAQ
Why book here instead of Airbnb?
Same condos, same hosts. Our direct nightly rate is 5% below our Airbnb rate, and there is no booking-site service fee on top.
What does a stay cost, all in?
The nightly rate for your dates, a $150 cleaning fee per stay, and the taxes Maryland requires: Maryland sales tax (6%) and Worcester County room tax (6%). Every line is shown before you pay.
When do I pay?
The full amount is charged when you book. Your booking is confirmed once payment goes through and our confirmation email arrives.
What if I need to cancel?
Same as the Strict policy we use on Airbnb: a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of booking (when you booked at least 7 days before check-in), 50% back if you cancel 7 or more days before check-in, and no refund inside 7 days. Details in the rental terms.
What are check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is by 12:00 PM. If the condo is ready early, we'll let you know.
How many nights can I book?
2 to 14 nights online. Some dates need a longer minimum. For longer stays, email us.
How many people can stay?
Up to 8 guests in each condo, children included. Only registered guests may stay on the property.
Is there an age requirement?
The person booking must be 25 or older and stay at the property. Guests under 25 send a copy of a government photo ID before check-in.
Where do we park?
One driveway spot (two cars fit, tightly) and plenty of free street parking around the condos, except on the busiest downtown weekends (Fourth of July, the White Marlin Open, the air show and festival weekends), when street spots fill up fast.
How far is the beach?
A short walk. The boardwalk, mini golf, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance of 17th Street.
Are there stairs?
Yes. The main living area of each condo is on the second floor, up a staircase. There is no elevator.
Can we bring a pet?
No pets, sorry.
Can we smoke or vape?
No smoking or vaping at either condo.
Are there quiet hours?
Yes, 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM at both condos.
Are towels and linens provided?
Yes. Every guest gets a bath towel, hand towel and washcloth, and bed linens are provided. We also leave starter supplies: paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, trash bags and toilet paper.
Is there a washer and dryer?
Yes. The two condos share a first-floor laundry room, and each condo has its own washer and dryer in it.
Do you have baby gear?
The condos don't come stocked with baby gear. We have one pack 'n play travel crib and one high chair, and we set them up in your condo only if you request them when you book. Since there's one set for both condos, it goes to whoever asks first.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, in both condos.
Are there cameras?
An exterior security camera is present on the property.
